The Underground

(Echoing footsteps...) (Water dripping...) (Flashlights clicking on...) (Radio static...) "...Command..." "...We've found something..." "...This wasn't built by us..." "...Go dark." ------------------------------------------------

Every step echoed like the Earth remembered. Concrete gave way to something older. Walls smooth as glass... No seams... No doors... Just symbols glowing beneath the dust. We weren't the first ones here. That realization hit harder than any damn explosion. The invasion... Didn't start yesterday. It started long before any of us were born. Somebody knew. Somebody buried the truth. ------------------------------------------------

Under our feet... They were waiting. Under our feet... They built their kingdom. We searched the skies... While the nightmare was sleeping below us. ------------------------------------------------

The deeper we went... The colder it got. No wind. No sound. Just that damn humming... Like the walls were alive. Then we found it... A room the size of a stadium. Thousands of pods... Most empty. Some... Still glowing. Nobody wanted to be the first one to walk closer. Fear ain't loud... Sometimes... It's so quiet you can hear your own heartbeat. ------------------------------------------------

Every answer... Created another question. Every tunnel... Led somewhere darker. Maybe we weren't fighting an invasion... Maybe we were waking up something that had been here all along. ------------------------------------------------

Under our feet... Hope met horror. Under our feet... Truth finally surfaced. If this world still has a chance... It starts here. ------------------------------------------------

(Alarm begins blaring...) "...Movement detected..." "...Multiple contacts..." "...They're waking up..." "...RUN!" (Alien roar...) (Huge cinematic impact.)
