If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, please read this entire page before submitting a notice. Incomplete or bad-faith notices may not be acted upon.
1. Overview
UBMurda respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this website to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), UBMurda will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements set forth below.
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that any content on this website infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice by following the instructions in this policy.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
All DMCA takedown notices must be submitted through our official contact channel:
3. Requirements for a Valid DMCA Notice
To be effective, a DMCA takedown notice must include ALL of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- 1
Physical or Electronic Signature
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- 2
Identification of the Copyrighted Work
A description of the copyrighted work(s) that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, provide a representative list.
- 3
Identification of the Infringing Material
A description of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., specific URL on this website).
- 4
Your Contact Information
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- 5
Good Faith Statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6
Accuracy Statement
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
NOTE: Notices that do not comply with all six requirements may not be processed.
4. Our Response Process
Upon receipt of a properly submitted DMCA notice, UBMurda will:
- • Review the notice and verify it meets all statutory requirements
- • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the notice is valid
- • Notify the party responsible for the content that it has been removed
- • Provide that party with a copy of the takedown notice
We aim to respond to properly submitted notices within 10 business days.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:
- • Your physical or electronic signature
- • Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared
- • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- • Your name, address, and telephone number
- • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
Submit counter-notifications through the Contact page with the subject line: DMCA Counter-Notification.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
UBMurda maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A "repeat infringer" is a user who has been the subject of more than one valid DMCA takedown notice.
7. Remix Content Notice
Much of the content on this platform consists of fan-made remix productions — creative reworkings of commercially released songs. We acknowledge that some of this content may incorporate samples or elements from third-party recordings. Rights holders who wish to have remix content removed may submit a DMCA notice following the process above. We will process all valid notices promptly.
At the same time, we note that many fan remixes qualify as transformative creative works and may be protected under the doctrine of fair use. We review each claim individually before taking action.
8. False Claims Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
