They Came From Above

(Alarm sirens...) (Radio chatter...) "Unidentified craft are descending..." "Multiple impacts confirmed..." "They're not stopping..." "They're landing..." ------------------------------------------------

Clouds split open... Then the whole damn sky disappeared. Ships so massive they swallowed daylight. Every shadow moving felt like death walking. Buildings shaking. Glass exploding. Military convoys rolling toward something they couldn't even understand. People weren't screaming anymore... They were just... Silent. Like fear had stolen every damn word. Then the first one stepped out. Eight feet tall. Black armor. Eyes glowing like burning stars. Nobody moved. Nobody breathed. ------------------------------------------------

They came from above... Like judgment falling out the heavens. They came from above... Turning every dream into a nightmare. They came from above... Thinking this world already belonged to them. But they picked the wrong damn planet. ------------------------------------------------

The first shots echoed... Nothing. Bullets sparked like rain hitting steel. Missiles lit the sky... Whole city watched... Nothing happened. People started running through smoke and concrete. A father carrying his little girl... Wouldn't put her down even when he could barely stand. That's when I realized... The strongest people ain't always the ones holding the biggest weapon. Sometimes... They're just trying to get one more person home. ------------------------------------------------

Every street became a battlefield. Every rooftop... A lookout. Every survivor... A witness. And every minute... The world kept changing. ------------------------------------------------

They came from above... Certain we'd surrender. They came from above... Certain we'd disappear. They came from above... But they never understood... Hope doesn't die easy. ------------------------------------------------

(Radio static...) "Recon Team Seven..." "...we recovered fragments..." "...their armor isn't indestructible..." "...repeat..." "...they can be wounded." (Pause...) "...Get everybody ready." (Huge cinematic explosion)
